ALKALINITY+
INCREASES ALKALINITY AND CONTROLS pH FLUCTUATION

Helps maintain balanced pH levels.
Insures better bather comfort.
Protects spa equipment.

1. Total alkalinity levels should be tested often and maintained in the range 100 to 150 ppm.
2. If level is below 100 ppm, add 20 g of ALKALINITY+ per 1,000L of spa water to raise alkalinity by 10 ppm.
3. Pour directly into spa water with the spa in operation.
4. Wait 15 minutes before using spa.

Total alkalinity is the measure of the ability of the water to resist changes in pH, it effects and controls the pH and is a pH buffer.
Low total alkalinity causes excessive pH fluctuation and can cause corrosion of spa surfaces and equipment.
The ideal range for Total Alkalinity is 125-150 ppm.
Test regularly and use when required.

Hot Tub Balancers IPG Alkalinity Minus (29-21981-11)

Alkalinity Minus

Item ID: (29-21981-11)
Brand: IPG

ALKALINITY-
ALKALINITY REDUCER

Helps reduce alkalinity in spa water to avoid scale formation.
Odourless, 100% soluble formula acts rapidly in hot water.
Does not influence total dissolved solids like regular granular formulas.

1. Maintain proper daily levels:
pH: 7.2-7.8
Alkalinity: 100-150 ppm
2. If levels are higher, add 60 mL of ALKALINITY- per 1,000 L of spa water to decrease pH 0.4 and alkalinity of 14 ppm.
3. Spa must be in operation before ALKALINITY-.
4. Wait 15 minutes and retest pH and alkalinity.
5. Repeat operation until recommended levels are reached.

TOTAL ALKALINITY:
Total alkalinity is the measure of the ability of the water to resist changes in pH, it effects and controls the pH and is a pH buffer.
High Total alkalinity makes the pH difficult to adjust and causes scale formation.
The ideal range for Total Alkalinity is 125-150 ppm.
Test regularly and use when required.

HARDNESS INCREASER
29-21501

Ideal product to prevent and stop corrosion of equipment.
Concentrate liquid formula that does not leave powdery residue and provides quick results.

1. Hardness level should be tested often and maintained in the range of 100 to 200 ppm.
2. If level is below 100 ppm add 110 mL of CALCIUM+ per 1,000 L of spa water to raise hardness by 50 ppm.
3. Pour solution directly into spa water with the spa in operation.
4. Wait 15 minutes before using spa.

CALCIUM HARDNESS:
Hardness is the total dissolved mineral content of the spa water and is made up of mainly calcium and magnesium.
The ideal range for calcium hardness is 100-200 ppm.
Use on initial fill of spa or when required.
PRECAUTIONS:
Always add chemicals to water, NEVER add water to chemicals!
Carefully read and follow all label directions before use.
